Lolla Rossa Lettuce
Lolla Rossa Lettuce has a mild flavor and very pliable leaves, despite the crunchy stem. Their uneven ruffled surfaces and tender yet crisp texture add layers of interest to salads. Because the leaves are so large, it's best to tear them up into bite-size pieces. Lolla Biondi is very similar to its Lolla Biondi relative, but its leaves are tinged deep red rather than bright green.
