Chokos are a type of squash and can be treated similar to courgettes, however they do require peeling.. They have a mild, sweet flavour and retain their firmness during cooking. Chokos can be stuffed, cooked and served with a sauce, stir fried, or added to braises or stews. They can be used in salads and in desserts, tarts, breads, jams or cakes. Chokos can be pickled or used as a base for relishes.
